Absolutely amazing doctors and care! I have fought for 12 years to get my son's tonsils taken out, and because we are on medicaid I always got the run around by any ENT we went to. FINALLY we found doctors that CARE. We first seen Dr. Aijaz Alvi, and in a matter of minutes he was telling us that my son needs his tonsils out, and was going through the steps of the procedure with us. Unfortunately due to a bum knee, Dr. Alvi isn't currently doing surgery, but he referred us to his associate Dr. Dina Golbin-Hallett. I was able to set up an appointment for the next week. Long story short.. As we pulled into the office (in Elgin which is an hour away from home), I received a phone call that the doctor had an emergency and had to reschedule our appointment. I was so upset, however in the process of rescheduling, the sweet lady on the phone said hang on. She spoke with the doctor real quick and came back to me and said, bring your son up she will see you before she leaves! I can't rate this office any higher if I wanted to! The doctor's son had gotten sick at school, and she still took the time to see my son before she rushed out. Not only that, but she didn't make us feel rushed or like she had something "better" to do. She took the time needed (which thankfully wasn't much) to explain everything to us, made us feel cared for and heard, and now my son is getting a long awaited tonsillectomy in a month!! Thank you Dr. Hallett and Dr. Alvi!! You are both such a blessing!
